Technical Design

Along with taking extensive courses involving digital design at the fashion institute of technology, i’ve also interned directly with the senior technical designer at Kendall + Kylie in New york city.

While there, I further broadened my knowledge of the fashion industry and thrived in a highly efficient, creative, hard-working, and fast-paced environment. Among my duties were creating technical packages with construction guidelines, assisting fitting sessions to determine correct fit and construction, implementing sample corrections by translating detailed evaluations for fit samples to manufacturers, and creating accurate flat sketches of garments in Adobe Illustrator.
