As someone who became enraptured by the arts at a very young age, my goal is to blend my passion and creativity with technical knowledge and skills in order to make the creative vision, a reality. I believe we all have creativity within ourselves in varying forms—however, it takes hard work, an attention to detail, and a resolute drive, to design a truly finished, innovative product.
I have an immense appreciation for all forms of art—but especially those that blend artistic excellence with function in undeniable harmony. Fashion design, in particular, is an art form in which one can find these elements. Articles of clothing generally have to be highly practical and functional—but, on the other hand, fashion design is also an immensely expressive, imaginative, and artistic endeavor. Combining these two fundamental elements is what has allured me to fashion design more than any other art form.
Along with my degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, I’ve studied painting, sculpture, digital media, sketching, photography, and more—anything creative that I could get my hands on. There is something beautifully rewarding about making something with your own hands. I love art in several mediums, and any work that allows me to be creative in a hands-on way.
My career goal is to find a way to blend creativity, technical skills, and functionality to produce quality work, ideally as part of a highly collaborative team where I can continue to grow and learn.
